There really isn’t anything more important than the right Search Engine Optimization.

That’s why you need to do a few things. Ask yourself some questions before you pick keywords and run with them:

1) When individuals are seeking products similar to what you sell on your MLM business site, what keywords do they use?

2) Are your keywords specific to your particular product? If you are just using general keywords, then they likely will not work as well as you’d like. Of course people are going to stumble across your site, and you might even have traffic, but you won’t have many targeted MLM leads.

3) Perhaps the keywords are overused? If you want to use a keyword that is used by hundreds of other sites, then you will find that it’s slightly difficult to make use of them. Your website will fall to the bottom of the rankings, and your MLM market may never even see it.

4) Are the keywords supposed to be in your site’s title tags? Keywords that you use must have some relevance to the content. Search engine crawlers will pick this up when they visit your site to inspect it.

5)Do you plan to use meta tags? Yes, they’re outdated, but there are still people that use them. Not every single search engine will see them, but just in case they do, make sure you SEO your meta tags.

So long as you have the time and the patience, you’ll do great and reach the target market.

It’s a mistake to assume that the work of optimizing your site is finished once you achieve a ranking in the first page of search engine results. The web is a place where things change rapidly and you need to keep up your efforts in order to maintain a high profile online.
