Payday: Acerbic, vibrant picture of life on the concert trail with a cocky, selfish country and western music megastar, a jerk who calls on his supervisor to “fix” some complications that crop up during the concert tour. Wall-E: This is an animation sci-fi comedy adventure. Wall-E is a robot left on Earth for 100′s of years, since the planet became uninhabitable. He just goes on cleaning the planet, as he was designed to do. When a search robot named Eve arrives, his whole reason for existing changes.
Born On The Fourth Of July: A true story that chronicles the life of Ron Kovic. A volunteer in the army, Ron does a tour in Vietnam, where he suffers injuries that leave him paralyzed. After his disturbing treatment by the government, and harrowing experiences in VA hospitals, Ron becomes an anti war activist. He feels completely betrayed by the country that he fought for.
The Indian in the Cupboard: A boy (Scardino) acquires an old chest as a birthday present, and finds that while he sets a toy Indian inside and turns the key, the Indian comes to life. Then he sees that the Indian is not a toy, however a genuine individual. Problems follow, particularly while his best buddy summons to life a toy cowboy. Cast includes Hal Scardino, Lindsay Crouse, Richard Jenkins, Rishi Bhat, and Nestor Serrano. (96 minutes, 1995)
